Welcome. I’m Becky—wife of Tim, home-educating mama of three, and now, friend to you. I’m so glad you’re here!
In this corner you’ll find me journaling everyday faith right where I am. In the middle of the clutter and the craziness, homework and the heartache, worship slips away. So I write to slow down and keep pace. Some of that writing has been published, of which I’m crazy grateful…
a little more about me
I’m a passionate journaler and a recovering perfectionist. I’m an RN and childbirth educator turned homeschool mom and writer. I believe coffee with a friend is always a good idea and that dark-chocolate covered blueberries and Cheerios are two of the world’s most perfect foods.
Where you are is the spot you’re standing on. An honest look. It’s a place God already sees…and where He already loves. There’s no place where Christ’s love can’t reach. I’m finding it’s where I wrestle with who I’m made to be, where sanity rests in resting in His part and where grace becomes power for my present.
My hope, dear reader, is that you’ll find comfort (“I’m not the only one!”) and courage for moving ahead, but most all…I hope you find yourself bumping into Jesus here.
about my family
I’m married to an amazing man, my biggest fan and best friend, Tim. Together we’re raising our three children in New England where we live full lives in a little house. Our story isn’t a fairytale but it’s precious, a piece of which includes adopting our youngest in 2008.

But enough about me, I want to hear about you! So, friend, let me just say you’re welcome here. Come on in, linger or leave a comment and join me. Subscribe to get posts sent directly to your inbox, or connect with me on Facebook.
WHAT I BELIEVE
I believe the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God and final authority in faith and life. I believe the words on those pages reveal the very heart and nature of God and His plan and are both living and active, providing light and understanding to the simple.
I believe there’s only one God revealed in three persons (commonly known as the Trinity)…Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I believe in God the Father; in the deity and humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ, the only son of God and Redeemer of mankind; and the Holy Spirit, the Lord and giver of life.
I believe man is born a sinner and salvation the work of God. I believe in Christ’s atoning work on the cross, in the triumph and power of His resurrection, the forgiveness of sins, and His soon return. I believe repentance and trusting Christ in saving faith (or salvation) is a gift of God’s extravagant grace and available to all.
We believe in the fellowship and unity of the whole body of Christ (those trusting Christ in saving faith), His bride—the Church. Our family lives in New England where we fellowship as apart of a small, denominational church in rural Maine.
